Located on an 8-acre campus near Anne Arundel Medical Center, Pathways Drug & Alcohol Treatment Center is a not-for-profit, 40-bed complex that provides a continuum of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs tailored to the special needs of adolescents and adults with substance addictions.
As counselor, you will perform a variety of therapeutic and service assignments concerning chemical dependency in the intermediate phase of treatment. Responsibilities include assisting in establishing treatment goals as well as implementing group, family, and individual therapy.
To qualify, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science or related field with 2+ years of experience as a counselor, specifically in chemical dependency counseling and current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS CPR certification. Master's preferred. Preferably, you will possess CSC-AD or CAC-AD certification (or are in the process of obtaining certification).
