The ADAA provides planning, regulation, fiscal management, and technical assistance to programs providing substance abuse services. There are six major divisions, Information Services, Management Services, Quality Assurance, Recovery Oriented Systems of Care, Research and Analysis and Statewide Services that comprise the ADAA divisions.

The Alcohol and Drug Abuse Administration envisions a future in which we substantially increase the numbers of Maryland citizens who enjoy a healthy drug free life by:
